Tracking grant reports

Winning a grant starts a schedule of reports. Here is how to keep it.

Reports are deadlines too

Funders often want an interim report every quarter or six months and a final report 30 to 90 days after the award ends. Missing one can cost the renewal. Treat each report as a deadline with its own row, owner and due date.

Build the schedule when the award arrives

  1. Note the award start and end dates from the award letter.
  2. Note how often interim reports are due and how long after each period.
  3. Add one deadline per report, plus the final report.

In Grant Tracker

Open Add > Reports in the sidebar, pick the grant and the award dates, choose the frequency, preview and add. Every report lands on the Deadlines tab with its due date, reminders start before each one, and the grant moves to Reporting when the award starts. How report schedules work
