Shared calendar

Every open deadline as an all-day event in a Google Calendar that stays in step with the spreadsheet.

Turn it on

  1. In the sidebar, open the calendar icon.
  2. Name the calendar (for example "Grant deadlines") and click Create calendar.
  3. Grant Tracker creates a new, separate calendar in your Google account and adds your open deadlines.

How it stays up to date

  • Changes in the spreadsheet reach the calendar within about an hour, or straight away with Sync now.
  • Deadlines marked Done or Not needed, or deleted, are removed from the calendar.
  • Edit deadlines in the spreadsheet, not in the calendar: edits made in the calendar are replaced on the next sync.
  • Dates never shift by a day, even when your computer and the spreadsheet are in different time zones.

Share it with your team

  1. Open Google Calendar, find the calendar under My calendars and choose Settings and sharing.
  2. Under Share with specific people or groups, add your colleagues with "See all event details".

Grant Tracker can only see and change calendars it created. It never reads or changes your own calendars.
